Credit Administration – Junior Associate

Our Client is seeking to recruit a result oriented Credit Administration – Junior Associate to join the Real Estate Finance Department.

Main Duties:

The person in this position will respond to the Head of Department. The candidate will be responsible to perform duties related to new and existing real estate lending Facilities including:

  • Organize documentation in an orderly filing system;
  • Performing credit related due diligence checks;
  • Ensure a high level of customer service;
  • Assist Front Office in the preparation of Credit Applications for approval;
  • Preparation of Sanction Letters and perfection of security;
  • Monitor facility activities including disbursements and repayments;
  • Providing the Customer as well as other departments within the Bank with a point of reference for any enquiry regarding the Real Estate Facilities;
  • Perform periodical review of facilities. 

Qualifications & Experience:

 The selected candidate should have a positive attitude, a strong aptitude to learn, be meticulous, team-oriented and must have:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • An excellent command in English and Maltese and good communication and interpersonal skills
    • A Diploma or Certificate in Banking & Finance or equivalent;
    • Be capable of working effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision;
    • Be able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively in line with business exigencies;
